We’re partnering with a fast-growing energy analytics company that is building advanced tools to benchmark and value electrification assets such as battery storage, solar, wind, and data centres. Their platform helps investors, developers, and operators understand revenue potential and make better decisions across global power markets. They are looking for a Market Analyst to join the US forecasting team and help develop high-quality power market forecasts and analytical tools used across the industry. What you’ll do Develop market models – Build and enhance power market and dispatch models to improve forecasting accuracy. Turn data into insight – Process and analyse complex datasets used in forecasting and optimisation models. Ensure quality and credibility – Conduct rigorous analysis and validation to maintain high-quality analytical outputs. Shape market outlooks – Contribute to insights on policy, market design, and structural changes across power markets. Build with the user in mind – Work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver tools that provide clear value to customers. What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a quantitative field such as engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, or economics 3–5 years’ experience analysing power markets or energy systems Experience modelling power systems, including areas such as: Power price forecasting Dispatch and optimisation modelling Locational market dynamics Familiarity with US power markets and renewable technologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with cloud environments (e.g. AWS) and optimisation frameworks The right mindset You’re curious, detail-oriented, and commercially aware. You enjoy translating complex technical work into clear insights and collaborating with engineers, product teams, and customers.
