Overview Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Surgery, Anesthesia Technician in Westwood, NJ. Responsibilities The Anesthesia Technician assists the Anesthesiologists with the care of intraoperative patients through the maintenance of equipment and supplies. The Anesthesia Technician is responsible for setting up the equipment and supplies required for the performance of different anesthesia techniques based on patient needs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Knowledge of sterile technique, asepsis, and the ability to apply such skills. Interacts professionally with staff, patients, and families. Receptive to both verbal and written directions. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills. Preferred Job Requirements: Experience in a health care setting as an Anesthesia Technician.
