Surgery Center Director (RN)

Location: Goodlettsville, TN
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead the clinical, operational, and business functions of a well-established outpatient surgery center in the Nashville area.

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations , ensuring regulatory compliance , driving quality outcomes , supporting physician relationships , and fostering a culture of exceptional patient care .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of surgery center operations
• Oversee Pre-Op, Operating Room, PACU, and Sterile Processing
• Ensure compliance with AAAHC, Joint Commission, CMS, and regulatory standards
• Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Develop and maintain strong physician partnerships
• Manage staffing, recruitment, retention, and employee development
• Participate in budgeting, expense management, and operational oversight
• Support strategic growth initiatives

Qualifications

Required

• Active RN License
• BSN Required
• 3+ Years of Leadership Experience
• Experience in:
• • Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
  • Perioperative Services
  • Surgical Services
  • Operating Room Leadership
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards

Preferred

• ASC Administrator Experience
• Surgery Center Director Experience
• Clinical Director Experience
• OR Manager Experience
• Ophthalmology Experience
• CNOR
• CASC
• Master's Degree
