This role is responsible for managing the hotel’s accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors, and maintaining financial integrity. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are: Key Responsibilities Invoice Processing Receive and review invoices, ensuring they are accurate, properly coded, and in compliance with established policies. Enter invoices into the accounting system and prepare them for payment processing. Payment Processing Process payment runs and prepare checks or electronic transfers for approved invoices. Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for payments. Vendor Relations Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving payment-related issues promptly. Communicate effectively with vendors to ensure accurate and up-to-date account information. Expense Reports Review and process team member expense reports, verifying receipts and compliance with company policies. Ensure timely reimbursement of team member expenses. Record Keeping Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions. Assist with month-end closing activities and provide necessary documentation for audits. Reporting Generate regular reports on accounts payable status, providing insights into outstanding payments and expenses. The starting range for this position is $28.00. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus. Proven experience in accounts payable or a related field. Familiarity with accounting software; experience with Workday is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
