Powder Coat Technician

We live that statement every single day. We are looking for a Powder Coating Technician to help support that mission. Due to invisible electromagnetic fields associated with equipment used, any carrier of a pacemaker must avoid this particular work area.

Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate spray guns and ovens
• Mask parts according to prints
• Monitor parts throughout the baking cycle
• Inspect components after coating for quality
• Package product in an efficient manner
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ensure all tools/equipment are returned to assigned place when not in use

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in powder coating environment is a plus, but not required
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to wear a respirator
• Familiarity with engineering drawings preferred
• Must be detail oriented
• Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
