EXAMINATION NOTICE BOROUGH OF PHOENIXVILLE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION POLICE DEPARTMENT The Phoenixville Borough Civil Service Commission is seeking applicants to establish an eligibility list for the position of Police Officer (full-time) with the Phoenixville Borough Police Department. The Borough of Phoenixville is a 3.5-square-mile, historic industrial-era steel town located approximately 30 miles west of Philadelphia in Chester County. With a population of nearly 20,000 residents, Phoenixville is home to a vibrant downtown featuring a lively dining and entertainment district. The Borough hosts numerous festivals and events throughout the year, significantly increasing weekend visitation.
