• Seeking a full time BC/BE Pediatric Neurologist to join an experienced Pediatric Neurologist.
• Neurologists share call with 24/7 coverage for inpatients by Pediatric Hospitalists, Pediatric Critical Care and Neonatologists.
• Established telemedicine and virtual care opportunities to provide flexibility in care delivery.
• Enjoy multidisciplinary collaboration with pediatric specialists in the specialties of cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hospital medicine, infectious disease, intensive care, pulmonology, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics, general surgery, neonatology.
• State of the art NICU- Level IIIb with 42 beds including individual, twin & triplet rooms. 18 bed Pediatric Unit and 5 bed PICU with 24/7 coverage by hospitalist and critical care physicians.
• New Womens & Childrens tower completed by 2027.
• Academic appointments available through the USD School of Medicine. Teaching opportunities with medical students and family medicine residents.

Located on the campus of Avera McKennan which is a 545-bed hospital that serves as the tertiary referral center for the Avera Health System, a non-profit Catholic organization. Avera McKennan campus includes a total of 110 beds devoted to the care of infants, children & adolescents in our NICU, PICU, Pediatric Unit, & Behavioral Health Hospital. The Avera footprint spans SD, MN, IA, NE, & ND providing a massive referral network of more than 1,250 physicians & advanced practice providers in 315 locations & over 2 million visits per year.
