Lead Resident Assistant

We're hiring a Lead Resident Assistant to provide exceptional care and oversight in our assisted living community. This position includes leadership responsibilities and hands-on resident care to ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for our seniors. Key responsibilities include:

1. Provide direct care including assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication support
2. Support and train care staff; model best practices and reinforce policies
3. Monitor resident well-being, chart changes in electronic health records, and report to clinical leadership
4. Conduct safety checks, maintain secure facilities, and respond to emergencies
5. Assist with daily tasks such as meal service, laundry, light housekeeping, and activity engagement
6. Manage supplies, maintain medication cart audits, and complete shift-specific documentation (TAR, vitals, labs, etc.)
7. Participate in daily walk-throughs to ensure community readiness

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year experience in senior care preferred
• Familiarity with dementia care and safe transfer techniques
• Comfortable using computers and standard office equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
• CPR/First Aid and medication assistance certifications preferred

• Medication administration: 1 year (Preferred)
