Independent Living Specialist - Life Skills Coach

Job Description

• Responsibility for providing support and instruction to consumers in life skills areas.
• Completing progress notes, attendance records and all documentation/reports per agency procedures.
• Assisting consumers with making choices; providing information as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining consumer and program confidentiality.
• Working closely with consumers and Case Manager/Supervisor to ensure appropriate service provision.
• Maintaining professional relations with Regional Center employees, parents, consumers and other circle of support members.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, Bilingual (Preferred)
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• ILS specialists: 1 year (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
