Valet Captain – Ultra‐Luxury Commercial Property

About the Property & Management Team

This role supports a Class X ultra‐luxury commercial property in Downtown Miami—an environment that does not simply lease space, but delivers a curated daily experience . Every touchpoint, from arrival to departure, is intentionally designed to reflect luxury, care, and a sense of belonging .

The property is managed by a rapidly scaling ultra‐luxury property management platform with a diverse South Florida portfolio that includes condo‐hotels, residential communities, commercial real estate, and mixed‐use assets .

At this property, arrival is everything —and the Valet Captain sets the standard.

Position Overview

The Valet Captain is responsible for all arrival‐zone and exterior front‐of‐house operations , including valet, door service, curbside logistics, and the visible leadership presence that defines the property’s first impression.

This is a highly visible, hands‐on role with full accountability for service quality, pace, and presentation in a true ultra‐luxury environment.

Core Responsibilities

Arrival Experience

  • Ensure every interaction in the arrival zone consistently meets Class X service standards
  • Personally model professionalism, composure, warmth, and attention to detail

Valet Operations

  • Oversee vehicle intake, parking, retrieval, and key control
  • Maintain full accountability for vehicle safety and service speed
  • Ensure all valet team members hold a valid Florida driver’s license and operate vehicles— including luxury and exotic models— with exceptional care

Traffic & Curbside Management

  • Manage curbside flow to maintain a clean, unobstructed, and elegant arrival zone
  • Anticipate peak windows, tenant events, and VIP arrivals and staff accordingly

Service Standards & Team Leadership

  • Enforce consistency and service choreography across all shifts
  • Deliver real‐time coaching and immediate course correction when standards slip
  • Maintain calm and control during high‐volume or time‐sensitive periods

Vehicle & Documentation Protocols

  • Maintain accurate vehicle logs, damage documentation, and end‐of‐shift reconciliation
  • Ensure records are complete, precise, and accessible at all times

Cross‐Department Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with Concierge, Security, and Facilities teams
  • Communicate anticipated arrivals, VIP visits, and event‐driven traffic volumes proactively

Tenant Relations

  • Address tenant concerns related to arrival services with full ownership
  • Resolve issues at the point of contact whenever possible; escalate only when necessary

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience as a Valet Captain in a luxury hotel, resort, or premium residential environment
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required)
  • Confident operating high‐end and exotic vehicles
  • Impeccable professional presentation
  • Strong logistical thinking and composure during high‐volume operations
  • Clear, professional communication skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Physically capable of an active, exterior‐facing hospitality role

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk outdoors for extended periods in a Miami climate
  • Ability to assist with doors, luggage, packages, and physical hospitality tasks
  • Comfortable working in heat, humidity, and variable weather conditions
