FSL is committed to offering each individual an elevated employee experience through growth and learning opportunities in addition to an inclusive work culture coupled with other perquisites.Position SummaryCarries out grounds work, snow removal, and occasional light maintenance duties as assigned by Assistant Director.Essential Job FunctionsPerforms grounds keeping tasks throughout the Cloverwood Campus, task include but are not limited to:WeedingMowingEdgingMulchingRakingDiggingPlantingSnow RemovalPicking up trash / debrisOperating power equipment/pick-up truck/tractorMaintaining cleanliness of maintenance garageReports to fire zone when alarm sounds.Participates in in-service education and safety programs.Ensure that resident tickets are resolved promptlyQualificationsA combination of experience, education, and/or training which substantially demonstrates the following knowledge and skills:Equivalent experience in grounds and landscaping work including planting, pruning, mowing, snow removal and the like.Must be neat in appearance, dependable, pleasant personality.Licenses / Certifications: Must have a valid NYS driver's license.Job RequirementsRequires ability to relate and be respectful to a wide variety of people and provide superior customer service to all including Residents, co-workers, vendors, family members and visitors.Position requires working Outdoors year roundRequires the ability to be on call / cover weekend shifts during the winter months for snow removal.Must wear employee badge at all times while on-the-job.Must report to work on time and adhere to attendance policy.Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding information about Resident, co-workers, vendors, family members and visitors.
