Position Summary The Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center (PAEC) seeks a highly organized, creative, and experienced Graphic Designer to support the Marketing department. The role involves creating visually engaging materials that support ticket sales, brand awareness, and community engagement, including season branding, show graphics, digital advertising, social media content, print collateral, signage, email graphics, and other creative assets. Hourly rate: $37.50–$42.50. Benefits: 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching. About the Venue The PAEC is a multipurpose venue that hosts theater, music, dance, art, and spoken‑word performances. Adjoining event spaces can accommodate more than 300 for gala seating or be transformed into settings ideal for conferences, seminars, meetings, and weddings. Majestic mountain views from the PAEC’s perch above the city provide an enchanting backdrop for striking event photographs. The center’s premier location in South King County, just 20 minutes south of Sea‑Tac Airport, is ideal for business, educational, social, charitable, and private events. Responsibilities Design and produce marketing materials for performances, events, and community programs. Develop visual assets for the PAEC’s annual season announcement campaign. Create digital ads, social media graphics, email graphics, posters, flyers, signage, and other branded materials. Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and promotional campaigns. Collaborate with marketing staff, promoters, artists, and external partners on creative projects. Prepare production-ready files for print and digital distribution. Assist with photo editing, layout design, and visual content organization. Support rapid‑turnaround creative requests for performances and events. Qualifications 2–3+ years of professional graphic design experience preferred. Strong portfolio showcasing digital and print design work. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience designing for social media, email marketing, and print production. Strong typography, layout, and branding skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
