Food Service Director

Selrico Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Director to lead our food service operations in a Correctional Facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of food service to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery.
• Manage and train food service staff, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure quality food products at competitive prices.
• Implement and monitor food quality and safety procedures to maintain high standards.
• Address and resolve customer feedback and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement best practices in food service management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Food Service Director or in a similar leadership role in the food service industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and operational costs effectively.
• Proficiency in food service management software is a plus.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate the demands of food service operations.
• Must pass an extensive background check.
