Location: Oakdale, CA
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Morning Shift, Overtime and Weekend Work as Needed

Job Description

Impress Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Facility Maintenance & Grounds Technician on behalf of a leading agricultural company located in Oakdale, CA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a dependable, hands-on individual who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and professional facilities.

This role combines janitorial services, landscaping maintenance, and general facility maintenance responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of these areas and be willing to learn and grow in the others. All tools and equipment required to perform the job will be provided by the employer.

Responsibilities

Janitorial Duties

• Clean offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash receptacles
• Restock supplies as needed
• Report maintenance and safety concerns to management

Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance

• Mow, edge, trim, weed, and maintain landscaped areas
• Maintain parking lots and outdoor workspaces
• Prune shrubs, hedges, and trees
• Repair and maintain sprinkler and irrigation systems
• Safely operate landscaping equipment

General Facility Maintenance

• Replace interior and exterior light fixtures and bulbs
• Perform minor plumbing, painting, carpentry, and handyman repairs
• Assemble furniture and equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks around the facility

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance, janitorial, landscaping, handyman, or related work preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely operate tools and equipment
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary

Working Conditions

• Work performed both indoors and outdoors
• Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and inclement weather
• Exposure to dust and agricultural products, including ground almonds and walnuts
• Must follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
