About the Opportunity

Azul Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial General Manager to lead the opening and ongoing operations of its new dual-brand AC Hotel by Marriott and Element by Westin. Opening in Q4 2026, the property will feature 240 guestrooms across both brands, AC Kitchen and Patio, indoor/outdoor AC Lounge, Element Rise breakfast program, and over 6,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. This is a unique opportunity to oversee two complementary Marriott brands under one roofserving both business and leisure travelers in one of the top hospitality markets in the United States.

The ideal candidate is a natural hospitality leader with a proven track record in team development, brand standards execution, and financial performance. This individual will serve as the property's operational and cultural leader, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while delivering strong financial results.

Key Leadership & Operational Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the dual-brand property, ensuring seamless integration of AC Hotel and Element brand standards.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing leadership team.
• Promote Azul Hospitality Group's values of integrity, collaboration, and guest-focused service.
• Lead all pre-opening activities including staffing, training, operational setup, and brand compliance.
• Build strong relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and tourism partners.
• Foster a culture of service excellence, accountability, and teamwork across all departments.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and brand loyalty through consistent service delivery and impeccable facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 35 years of experience as a hotel General Manager or in a comparable leadership role
• Experience within the lifestyle hospitality segment
• Proven ability to lead multi-departmental teams and drive performance
• Track record of achieving strong financial and guest satisfaction results
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
