Beck N Call Homecare Service is a dedicated Non-Medical Home Care Agency. We are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our elderly clients in Monroe County and have done so for 30 years. As a Direct Care Worker at Beck 'N Call you will play a vital role in supporting our clients by providing essential non-medical services. This position is crucial for helping our elderly population maintain their independence and dignity, while in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities. Such as personal care, meal prep and light housekeeping
• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to Beck N Call office staff
• Follow collaborated Plan of Care customized to client care
• Maintain a healthy and safe living environment for client
• Utilize Electronic Visit Verification System on App or landline phone
• Transport client to medical appointments, grocery shopping or laundromat
•  

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in personal care or other health related fields
• Must have valid Driver's License and insured vehicle
• A smart phone that is capable of utilizing our shift verification app
• Must have a clean Criminal, Child Abuse, Driving and Medicaid Fraud background
• Ability to build rapport with clients with compassion and caring demeanor
• Ability to report concerns to Field Staff Supervisor or On-Call representative
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
