Position : Brand Marketing Assistant Location: West Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid, 4d/w onsite) Work Schedules: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Classification: Non-Exempt, Direct Hire, Full-Time OVERVIEW: A global creative brand marketing company in West Los Angeles is looking for a highly motivated Brand Marketing Assistant to join the team to support producers on integrated marketing projects for BtoC industry, such as major CPG, Food/Beverage, entertainment, gaming and fashion brands. This role involves supporting digital marketing campaigns, social media management, influencer marketing, content creation, and project coordination while collaborating with clients, vendors, and creative teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about marketing, interested in Japanese culture and business, and able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: - Assist in end-to-end project management across various marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns, social media strategy, influencer marketing, branded video production, and event planning and coordination Conduct research on market trends, consumer insights, and competitive activity to develop creative marketing ideas for potential client projects and campaigns
- Support the creation and refinement of pitch decks, client presentations, and project reports by organizing information, visual materials, and campaign insights
- Manage, curate, and create engaging content for clients' social media channels, ensuring alignment with brand tone, campaign objectives, and current trends
- Liaise and coordinate with external vendors, production partners, and freelancers to support smooth execution of projects and timely delivery of assets
QUALIFICATIONS - Passionate about marketing and advertising across all media channels, with a strong interest in learning, developing skills, and advancing a career in the marketing industry
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience in the marketing industry
- Strong interest in Japanese culture, media, and entertainment content, with an enthusiasm for bringing Japanese perspectives to the U.S. market
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Up-to-date knowledge of social media platforms, pop culture trends, and current news, with a strong sense of what resonates with target audiences
- Proficiency in basic productivity and collaboration tools, including Google Workspace (Gmail, Slides, Sheets, Docs), Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Japanese-related experience or language skills considered a plus
