As an Armed Security Officer you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. Compensation Pay $28.23 per hour. Paid weekly. (Near HWY 75 & Mockingbird Lane) Responsibilities Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons Greet guests and employees, assist where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information Follow site‑specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication; interact with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary Qualifications (Must Have) High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment Minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state) Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports Able to complete all range qualifications and functions Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field Benefits Health insurance and 401k plans for full‑time positions Schedules that fit with your personal life goals Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues and much more… Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
