Job Title: Agile QA Tester
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $82,000.00 - $87,000.00
Work Model: Remote – offsite
Hours: 40.0

Responsibilities

• Represent the testing discipline on an Agile Development Team, working with Developers and Business Analysts to ensure quality delivery.
• Execute and validate manual and automated test cases based on user stories or requirements.
• Identify and document defects during test execution.
• Collaborate with team members to create, review, and improve testing processes and automation strategies.
• Assist in creating automated tests and determine appropriate automation tools and frameworks.
• Apply knowledge of P&C Insurance Policy Administration Systems, particularly Commercial Lines.
• Participate in discussions describing your role on recent projects, your automation practices, and proficiency with SQL queries, API testing, and scripting languages.

• 3+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 1 year of experience working on an Agile Team.
• Experience creating automated tests.
• Proficiency in SQL queries, API testing, and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of P&C Insurance Policy Administration Systems, specifically Commercial Lines, is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills and initiative in automation implementation.
• Ability to work independently and challenge the status quo.
• Must not require sponsorship now or in the future.
